My first major solo show in London!
In my first major London show I presented my girls both old and new. They felt familiar. We found them lying, sitting, standing or kneeling, with an occasional laptop, phone or a man thrown in. Plants and steaming coffee cups were compulsory. Girls themselves were lanky and awkward, set in my usual geometric and flattened domestic environments. As you can see, I like to repeatedly celebrate (and mock) the daily and the banal, light and humorous mood with a sporadic darker streak is a must. Yay.
